Hull Port Information

The Port of Hull lies on the north bank of the River Humber some 30 kilometres, approx 18.5 miles from the mouth of the estuary. The port area comprises over 800 hectares and extends along 11km of the waterfront.

Please note that all passengers must enter the port at the Northern Gateway. On arrival at the Port of Hull staff will direct you to either the Passenger Arrivals Area or the designated Car Park. From here you will be taken by shuttle bus to the Cruise Terminal.


By Road

From North and West: Follow either the M62 or A1079 to the A63 and Hull city centre. Follow signs for the docks (Queen Elizabeth Dock) and enter via the Eastern Access Security Control Gate (A1033).

From South: Follow the A15 across the Humber Bridge and then turn east along the A63 Hull city centre and follow the signs for the docks (Queen Elizabeth Dock) and enter via the Eastern Access Security Control Gate (A1033).


Car Parking

The Port of Hull offers a very convenient and secure parking facility to passengers. Car parking must be pre-booked with your tour operator or travel agent. Please ensure that the Car Park Permit is clearly displayed in the windscreen of your vehicle before leaving your vehicle. The Car Parking permit will be included in your Final Cruise Documentation Pack. Once you have parked your car your luggage will be taken by the porters directly to the ship and there will be a short shuttle bus ride to the Cruise Terminal.

Note: There is no disabled parking close to the terminal building all passengers are required to travel by shuttle to the check-in area.

By Rail

There are several train providers operating services into Hull from London Kings Cross calling at Stevenage, Grantham, Retford, Doncaster, Selby, Howden & Brough. There are also good services from Scotland and the far north generally linking to Hull via Doncaster, details can be found by clicking here or by visiting TrainGenius.com. The station is located within the city centre and is approximately 4 miles from the Passenger Arrivals Area, taxis are available outside the station.
