WW1 Remembrance Cruise

WW1 Remembrance Cruise

This season CMV has chosen once again to make regular stops in two of WA’s picturesque southern ports – Esperance and Albany because of the amazing scenery they both provide ASTOR’s guests. Enjoy a full day at sea getting to know Astor before arriving in Esperance.

Embark on a voyage through time and rediscover the ANZAC legend aboard the iconic Astor. Bound for Albany, the final departure point for the ANZAC troops on their way to the battlefields in the First World War, you can immerse yourself in fascinating lectures from noted military historians, revel in themed entertainment and shows, and attend a special Remembrance service onboard. On shore in Albany, you can continue to delve into the ANZAC story as you make your way to the National ANZAC Centre, an award-winning museum, and attend a commemorative dusk service at the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial. Cruise & Maritime Voyages is also proud to donate part proceeds from every cruise fare to Legacy in gratitude to the sacrifice made ANZACs and those they left behind.
