Relax and enjoy lazy days and carefree evenings as Astor heads for the Caribbean calling at cosmopolitan Amsterdam, historic Lisbon and beautiful Madeira en route. In the West Indies, the stunning beaches of Barbados and Grenada are something that you will have the chance to enjoy, plus a fascinating call at wonderfully preserved Cartegena, one of Colombia’s oldest settlements and without doubt one of South America's most impressive colonial cities.A call at Cristobal offers a chance to visit Panama City. A highlight will be Astor’s navigation of the iconic Panama Canal, the body of water that separates North America and South America, as well as the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Over 100 years old, this manmade canal is an engineering wonder.

The voyage from here to Auckland, New Zealand is no less impressive, with stops at three amazingly scenic French Polynesian islands of Nuku Hiva, Tahiti and Bora Bora. You will be introduced to a Pacific island lifestyle that will be difficult to leave behind. Cross the International Dateline to Auckland, where a blend of harbour, islands, Polynesian culture and modern city environment has created a lifestyle ranked amongst the best in the world. Astor then arrives on Australia’s east coast, where she will visit Sydney. Arriving into Sydney Harbour with its iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House is one of the great joys of cruising. You will then continue to Adelaide, with its elegant colonial buildings, before sailing up to Fremantle at the end of this quite remarkable adventure.
